What is the most special thing in this lockdown that has happened to you?
–Lockdown has helped me find the best version of myself, yet. Be it through getting back in touch with my long lost hobbies or through my self-reflection session, the whole process of finding myself has been quite fruitful. So knowing myself and the world around me in a way I never had, has been the most special thing that happened to me during the lockdown.

One thing you wish you knew when you were a teenager.
–The fact that we can’t’ make everyone happy. No matter what we do there’s always going to be someone or the other who won’t approve of our choices or our existence even. So we better do what we love doing and what makes us happy. As long as we’re doing the right things with a good heart, that’s all that really matters.

What is the one thing you’ve learned in this long period of lockdown?
–For me an introvert living alone, my experience may not be of relevance to others. I was having the time of my life, painting, learning new ideas, and reading books while still being aware of the events taking place.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done?
–One of the most adventurous things I have done in my life so far is coming back to Nepal alone after almost 9 years. The air felt familiar but most of the things were new and unexpected. I had never visited any place other than Boudha since I moved to California at a young age. So when I came to Nepal I ventured alone on the streets of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur. I was mesmerized by their beauty, the cultural orientation, the people, and the place. My stay in Nepal this past year has been an adventure.

One habit you wish you could leave.
–I think I say “Yes” to almost any requests even if it is only going to put pressure on me. I would want to change that habit.
Best gift you’ve received.
–The greatest gift for me is this life. When I was younger I had a misconception that material good brought happiness, friends, and families together. However, as I grew up I realized that every single moment I get to spend my time with someone I love was the greatest gift of all.
What do you think is the cutest thing on Earth?
–Anything nature has to provide. Including you, the person reading this.
Name a movie that has made you cry.
–“Into The Wild”. When I read the book I only had my imagination for all the events that had taken place. But watching the actual visual representation of all those events was far much different.
Best piece of advice you’ve recieved.
–“You have power over your mind – not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.” -Marcus Aurelius
